So, when it was announced that Halo 5: Guardians would not be including their traditional local split screen coop mode, we felt very let down. Today, Halo 5 was running smoothly split screen thanks to Skreens.
About a month ago, we were introduced to a piece of upcoming tech called Skreens. What Skreens does is it takes the HDMI input from several devices plus the internet then allows you to output to single personalized screen. For example, you could have a sport game, your video game, your Twitch feed and Twitter feed all on one screen without having to have multiple input on your screen. Even better yet, you’ll be able to customize the different feeds by sizing, transparencies, etc.
Today, Skreens uploaded a video showing off Halo 5 being played via Skreens split screen. Check out the video.
Let us know what you think.
Side note, Skreens currently has four days left in its Kickstarter campaign. Help support it if this is a piece of tech you would like to utilize.
