Indie developers Golden Ruby Games and Ripstone Publishing just announced that the extremely fun platformer and party game Extreme Exorcism will be coming to the Nintendo Wii U and Sony Playstation 3 this year.
Extreme Exorcism had great showings at both IndieCade and PAX East. In fact, Confident Gamers was able to interview Mike Christatos, President of Golden Ruby Games, and chat about Extreme Exorcism and also get some hands on the crazy multiplayer fun action.
Here is what Extreme Exorcism is all about:
Take on the role of Extreme Exorcist Mae Barrons – whose unconventional supernatural skills are called upon when everything and everyone else has failed to rid a haunted house of its ghostly presence.
Mae’s methods are a little extreme but she’s not dealing with your average poltergeists. She’s armed with a lethal arsenal of over 20 ghost-busting weapons including; swords, guns, grenades, mines, rocket launchers, razor-sharp boomerangs, lightning spells and Kung-Fu moves, and more.
Each time a ghost is eliminated, another will appear to mimic your every move – so tread carefully, or prepare to reap what you sow. In Extreme Exorcism you’re your own worst enemy. The longer you survive, the more extreme the game becomes.
Here’s what to expect with the PS3 and Wii U versions:
- 50 challenges
- Single player story mode
- Up to 4 player Local multiplayer
- Co-op and deathmatch modes
- Customizing features to intensify the experience
Extreme Exorcism will be showing at E3 2015 and so we hope to get more information and an exact release date.
The game has already announced for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
